Cancellation Policy

At DesiStore, we understand that you may need to cancel an order due to a change in plans or other unforeseen circumstances. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on https://desistore.co.in.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may request to cancel your order any time before it has been processed and dispatched from our warehouse.

To request a cancellation, please contact our Customer Support as soon as possible using the contact details provided at the end of this policy.

While we make every effort to accommodate cancellation requests, orders that have already entered the packaging or dispatch process may not be eligible for cancellation.

2. Orders That Have Already Been Shipped

Once an order has been handed over to our courier partner for delivery, it cannot be cancelled.

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you may request a return or replacement in accordance with our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Cash on Delivery is available only for eligible PIN codes.

To reduce fraudulent and non-genuine orders, DesiStore may verify COD orders through a phone call, SMS, WhatsApp message, or email before dispatch.

If a customer is unavailable for verification or fails to respond within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to cancel the order without prior notice.

Repeated cancellation or refusal of COD orders may result in Cash on Delivery being restricted or unavailable for future purchases.

4. Prepaid Orders

If a prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch and the cancellation request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout.

Refunds are generally initiated within 8–15 business days after approval. The actual credit timeline may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment service provider.

5. Cancellation by DesiStore

DesiStore reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, under circumstances including but not limited to:

• The product is out of stock.

• The product has been discontinued.

• Incorrect pricing or product information was displayed due to a technical or human error.

• Payment could not be successfully verified or processed.

• The shipping address is incomplete, inaccurate, or falls outside our serviceable delivery area.

• The order appears fraudulent, suspicious, or violates our Terms of Service.

• The order cannot be fulfilled due to operational, legal, or logistical reasons.

If a prepaid order is cancelled by DesiStore, any amount received will be refunded to the original payment method.

6. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information at the time of placing an order.

DesiStore shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional shipping costs arising from incorrect or incomplete address details or an incorrect mobile number.

7. Refusal to Accept Delivery

If a customer refuses to accept a shipped order without a valid reason, the shipment may be returned to our warehouse.

In such cases, DesiStore reserves the right to recover applicable shipping, return shipping, packaging, handling, and other operational costs before processing any eligible refund.

Repeated refusal to accept deliveries may result in restrictions on future Cash on Delivery orders.

8. Promotional Offers and Discount Coupons

If an order placed using a promotional offer, coupon code, or special discount is cancelled, the promotional benefit may lapse and cannot be reinstated.

Any refund will be calculated based on the actual amount paid after applying the applicable discounts.

9. Force Majeure

DesiStore shall not be liable for delays or inability to process cancellations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, public emergencies, technical failures, labour strikes, or other force majeure events.

10. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect changes in our business operations, legal requirements, or industry practices.

Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated Effective Date.
